Internship Structure:

1st Half: Research schools across the country that have study abroad programs to learn how they work. Build a database of potential partnerships. Interview schools to understand how they do (after) study abroad programming. Learn about gaps and student articulated needs.

Midpoint: Pitch a learning resource that you believe will solve a specific problem identified over the course of your research.

2nd Half: Co-create one of your resources from scratch. This will be a free digital tool that students all over the country will have access to--and that solves a specific and unaddressed "after study abroad problem."  Prepare two sets of marketing materials--one for students and one for schools--to get the word out about your educational tool.

Why you should apply:

Think of this internship as a research assistant meets apprentice.

For future study abroad advisors: It's a great opportunity to start learning about how different colleges work. You'll especially learn what types of programing and resources are out there for students across the country. You'll be able to create a resource for your portfolio when you apply for future study abroad jobs.

As a special bonus, you'll have access to all of our courses. And we'll mentor you one-on-one on how to write a killer resume and other career prep advice. You'll also learn the ABC's of starting an online business--information you can use if you ever want to create your own online business (or just have a side hustle to make some extra income).

Requirements: You must be willing to work 10-15 hours per week.

Compensation: Internship is unpaid. However, college credit is available and we can be flexible with your schedule.

To apply, email us your resume, subject: SUMMER INTERN 2017 or FALL INTERN 2017 depending on which term you're applying for. And tell us why you want to work with us.
